Ressichem Max Flo VE

Max Flo VE is a chloride free admixture consisting of a mixture of highly water-soluble co-polymers molecules of which are adsorbed onto the surface of the cement granules, thereby changing the viscosity, and influencing the rheological properties of the mix.

USES

Max Flo VE is used to improve the rheology of concrete, to arrest the bleeding from pumpable concrete, used in underwater concreting, to improve the performance of concrete which contains inadequate quantity of fine, etc.

• Makes the mixes less sensitive to variation in sand grading, shape and moisture content of the aggregates and characteristics of the binders.

COMPATIBILIYT

Max Flo VE can be used with all types of cements and cementitious materials like fly ash, GGBS, micro silica etc. Max Flo VE should not be premixed with other admixtures unless recommended by Ressichem Technician.

DOSAGE

Recommended dosage is 0.05 –0.5 % by weight of cementitious material. Higher dosage can be used after verification of performance by conducting lab and site trials. The performance of Max Flo VE is best assessed after preliminary tests on site using the actual raw material and mix under consideration to determine optimum dosages and effects on properties such as workability, strength, setting time, etc.

EFFECT OF OVERDOSING

Max Flo VE must not be added directly into the dry mix. To produce self-compacting concrete, Max Flo VE should be used in combination with Max Flo 4000 / 5000 to achieve maximum efficiency. No extension of normal mixing time is necessary but thorough mixing is essential. A self-compacting mix should have a high workability and high viscosity.

Available in 1 Liter, 5 Liters, 10 Liters, 15 Liters, 30 Liters and 200 Liters of packaging.

DISPENSING

Max Flo VE should be directly dispensed into the concrete mixer together with mixing water.

SHELF LIFE

12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under cool and dry warehouse conditions in original unopened packaging. Extreme temperature and humidity may reduce shelf life.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

This product is considered as non-hazardous and safe for transportation. Suitable masks and gloves can be worn during application. Contact with skin should be avoided. Refer to product MSDS for further health and safety information.
